Additional resources for research and interpretation design to produce 10 panels and a short film about the kiln.
The project enabled a specialist to continue the research in documents written in old Latin and interpret it to develop into an accessible story to tell to the public in order to provide an excellent visitor experience.
This was carried out and the interpretation is now installed at the kiln site, which is receiving good feedback. All the interpretation, education material and marketing is bilingual.
”The LEADER grant provided funds to pay a specialist in heritage and interpretation to take the work that had been done by community volunteers to the next level in order for the project to meet its full potential. We paid a specialist to continue the research in documents written in old Latin and interpret it and develop it into an accessible story to tell to the public in order to provide an excellent visitor experience.”
