Nature Connections and Wellbeing

The project is aiming to build capacity for the delivery of an innovative “nature connections and wellbeing” course.

Project Outcomes:

The project is aiming to build capacity for the delivery of an innovative “nature connections

and wellbeing” course through: Train the trainer course. To empower, nurture and train a group of volunteers to become accredited nature connection activity leaders to assist in the delivery of the “nature connections and wellbeing” course.  This course will then be written up, packaged and presented as a tool kit for future delivery.

As part of building capacity for the delivery of the “nature connections and wellbeing “course, the actual course will be delivered to communities with the Pembrokeshire locality and a small group of participants will be trained to capture simple digital media images, to capture the essence.

Lessons Learned:

Promotion and reaching the participants to sign up to the Nature Connections and Wellbeing was challenging and we were initially undersubscribed. We learnt to be more flexible and more structured in our delivery, depending upon the customer’s requirements. There is a lot of demand for training and for people to gain knowledge and skills in delivery nature connection and well-being courses.
