Project Description:

Span Arts will create Span Digidol, a 2 year pilot project to develop a new way of delivering cultural services via digital technology to rural communities across the whole of Pembrokeshire by delivering a new Digital Engagement Policy and Plan, run a suite of creative and social activities that have been identified and adapted to deliver culture in Pembrokeshire through digital, and adopt a new set of working practices.

Project Achievements:

The project will pilot services that will open up culture across the whole of Pembrokeshire and inspire and facilitate inter-generational work with up-skilling of both young and old members of the community by making the best use of new and arriving technology, better exploiting digital to reduce social and cultural isolation.

Project Beneficiaries:

Residents of Pembrokeshire of all ages.

In 2018, Span Arts were awarded £62,000 from Arwain Sir Benfro – the Local Action Group for Pembrokeshire which was administered by PLANED

An ambitious new digital arts project was developed as a new way of delivering cultural services to rural communities across the whole of Pembrokeshire.
