Project Description:

The project is aiming to build capacity for the delivery of an innovative “nature connections and wellbeing” course.

Project Achievements:

The project is aiming to build capacity for the delivery of an innovative “nature connections and wellbeing” course through:

  1. Train the trainer course. To empower, nurture and train a group of volunteers to become accredited nature connection activity leaders to assist in the delivery of the “nature connections and wellbeing” course.
  2. The “nature connections and wellbeing” course will be written up, packaged and presented as a tool kit for future delivery. During the process of Train the trainer and the actual delivery of the “nature connection” courses, the course contents will be reviewed and refined to ensure the optimum course toolkit is produced. A tried and tested nature connections course which will be fit and ready for future delivery, packaged and ready for purchase and commissioning.
  3. As part of building capacity for the delivery of the “nature connections and wellbeing “course, the actual course will be delivered to communities with the Pembrokeshire locality.  As well as offering valuable opportunities for participants to attend the “nature connections” course, it will also give the opportunity for newly trained volunteer “nature connection leaders” to practice to their new skills and knowledge.
  4. A small group of participants will be trained to capture simple digital media images, to capture the essence.
