Community Wellbeing and Resilience
The project proposal is a two-year pilot which will recruit two project officers to explore how town and community councils can build community resilience through engaging their communities in developing local well-being assessments, plans and project activities. These will feed into and inform the county-wide Well-being Assessment and Plan undertaken by the Public Services Board (PSB), as required by the Well-being of Future Generations Act (WFGA).
The overall purpose of the project is to improve community and individual well-being and the resilience of communities, by developing effective community plans, networks and projects that make best use of local assets. The project will equip town and community councils and community members with the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to care-take the well-being of their communities, including the most vulnerable people living among them.
Town and community councils, all people who live and/or work in Pembrokeshire communities.
