Grŵp Gweithredu Ynni Lleol ar gyfer Sir Benfro

Mae prosiect peilot i helpu cymunedau i gynhyrchu a masnachu ynni cynaliadwy wedi cael arian gan Arwain Sir Benfro. Bydd y Grŵp Gweithredu Ynni Lleol (LEAF) yn gweithio gyda phum cymuned ar draws Sir Benfro dros y ddwy flynedd nesaf, gan eu cefnogi i ddatblygu prosiectau ynni cymunedol.

Mae Arwain Sir Benfro wedi rhoi cyllid i brosiect sy’n helpu i ddargyfeirio eitemau’r cartref rhag mynd i safleoedd tirlenwi. Prosiect Pobl Hŷn yn datblygu cysylltiadau newydd yn y gymuned leol

Casglodd y Prosiect Pobl Hŷn sydd wedi ei leoli yng Nghanolfan Gymunedol Bloomfield ddata gan dros 100 o bobl 55 oed a hŷn, gan ofyn iddynt am eu barn ynghylch gwasanaethau a gweithgareddau yn Arberth. Creodd y prosiect gronfa ddata o fwy na 60 o grwpiau sy’n croesawu pobl hŷn yn yr ardal, rhannwyd yr wybodaeth hon gyda grwpiau lleol eraill a helpodd i greu cysylltiadau newydd.

Astudiaeth newydd i ddatblygiad Glannau Aberdaugleddau yn y dyfodol

 

Fel rhan o’r cynllun £115m ar gyfer Glannau Aberdaugleddau, fel y mae newydd ei frandio, mae Awdurdod Porth Aberdaugleddau (MHPA) wedi rhyddhau astudiaeth sy’n edrych ar yr opsiynau ar gyfer ailddatblygu’r Quay Stores sy’n adeilad rhestredig Gradd II ar Heol Fictoria yn Aberdaugleddau.

Mae gan Sir Benfro ail oergell barhaol sy’n agored i’r gymuned. Mae Canolfan Gymunedol Bloomfield House wedi derbyn arian i redeg Oergell a Phantri Cymunedol parhaol yn Arberth, a fydd yn helpu i leihau gwastraff bwyd a threchu’r stigma o’r defnydd o fwyd dros ben.

Theme 2 open for Expressions of Interest

Do you have ideas that could help develop business networks and skills in Pembrokeshire?  Are you interested in diversification or ways to shorten business supply chains?

We are pleased to say that we have a window open to accept Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for applications under Theme 2 of the LEADER fund.  Theme 2 can support projects that will help the facilitation of pre-commercial development, business partnerships and short supply chains.

Evaluating Arwain Sir Benfro

PLANED, on behalf of the Arwain Sir Benfro Local Action Group (LAG), is seeking to appoint consultants to undertake a midterm and final evaluation of the Local Action Group and LEADER activities being delivered as part of the EU & WG funded scheme.

The aim of the evaluation is to:

  1. Assess the impact of the scheme on Pembrokeshire, to measure its effectiveness against the targets, indicators and outcomes agreed with the Welsh Government.
  2. Assess the approach taken & success of the LAG in meeting its objectives. Evaluate and make recommendations.
  3. Inform and shape delivery of rural development support with suggestions for improvements.

This project is being funded through the Rural Development Plan for Wales 2014-2020 which is funded by the Welsh Government and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD)

Yr Amgueddfa ar gyfer y gymuned

Mae prosiect ymchwil newydd i gefnogi Amgueddfa ac Oriel Luniau Dinbych-y-pysgod yn digwydd diolch i gyllid gan Arwain Sir Benfro. Mae’r Prosiect Amgueddfa ar gyfer y Gymuned yn ystyried opsiynau ar gyfer dyfodol yr Amgueddfa sy’n dathlu ei phen-blwydd yn 140 oed yn 2018 ac yn helpu i’w gosod wrth galon Dinbych-y-pysgod.

Span Arts yn cyflawni gyda digidol

Mae prosiect celfyddydau digidol i ddarparu gweithgaredd cymdeithasol a diwylliannol ledled Sir Benfro wedi cael arian gan Arwain Sir Benfro. Bydd y prosiect Span Digidol yn treialu ffyrdd newydd o gyflwyno gwasanaethau diwylliannol gyda thechnoleg ddigidol dros y ddwy flynedd nesaf.

This is a unique opportunity to play a major role in Pembrokeshire’s Pilot Community Cooperative Share Offers project. The project aim is to coordinate the support for the communities wishing to set up new cooperative social enterprises using community shares finance.

Well-being plan for Pembrokeshire published

PLANED is part of Pembrokeshire’s Public Services Board (PSB) which has published a Plan which aims to improve well-being for all people and communities in the County.

The Well-being Plan sets out how public and private sector partners will work together to improve economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being in Pembrokeshire by strengthening joint working across service providers.

Is Pembrokeshire ready to go plastic-free?

People from across Pembrokeshire have come together to coordinate going plastic-free.

PLANED’s Valuing the Environment Network hosted an event to bring together individuals, community groups, businesses and public bodies to discuss the wealth of activity already going on across the county and what more could be done.

St Davids Social Media City

A digital tourism project in St Davids has been awarded funding by Arwain Sir Benfro.  The St Davids Social Media City project will pilot a mobile app to gather all the latest social media news and events for residents and visitors.

Reconnect volunteers with Reconnect Director Andrew Dugmore

Reconnect in Nature project funded

A project that will help people reconnect with nature has been funded to deliver an innovative training programme across Pembrokeshire. Reconnect in Nature will help people connect with their natural environment, reconnect with themselves and create a community that supports each other.

The Cabinet Secretary is today publishing a Written Statement announcing the full panel membership, confirming the first meeting and announcing that they will shortly be issuing a call for evidence. This will be reconfirmed in a press release and at the One Voice Wales Conference tomorrow.

Making the Most of What We Have 50 people gathered in Letterston Memorial Hall on Thursday October 5th to hear about inspiring local projects that are repairing and re-using waste goods, and preventing food waste. They also heard about the work Wales is doing nationally to move towards ‘zero waste’, as well as Pembrokeshire County Council’s forthcoming new waste strategy.

Draft Well-being Plans Consultation: Ceredigion, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire

The Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015 places a duty on each Public Services Board (PSB) to develop and publish a county Well-being Plan by May 2018. As part of the preparation of this Plan each PSB has undertaken a detailed Well-being Assessment of the social, economic, environmental and cultural well-being of the county and the assessment, along with a series of engagement events, have been used to identify well-being objectives and aims for each county and the actions to make progress against those objectives.

£14,999 of funding for – Pembrokeshire Pod Project

Arwain Sir Benfro has recently provided funding to FRAME, through the LEADER programme. This project has received funding through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development and the Welsh Government.
Pembrokeshire Pod Project is the brain child Jenny Sims and the FRAME team; foreseeing the development of an empty building on site as a “Space for start ups to grow, a place for
community to go”.
